The Shire Hall Gallery- illusions

Hannah Baggott went to Shire Hall Gallery and said that it was really good, so after I had been to Walsall, I decided to go to Stafford to have a look at Illusion.
I decided not to read up on Illusion as I wanted to see what the gallery was about when I got there.

There were a lot of images that looked like the images above. You have to have really sensitive eyes to look at these images because they really do make your eyes go funny when you look at them.

I thought that this piece of work, didn't fit into the concept of illusion. I didn't really understand why this piece of art was place here. However, I really like how the artist has made the body parts out of wire, especially the hand.

This was my favourite part of the gallery. The artist has completed their art work on the floor. This looks really real. It looks like there are holes in the floor and animals coming up from under the floor. I really enjoyed looking at this work.

This image was also interesting. It is similar to the iamge that they used to have a birmingham musueum. The image is 3-D and it shows houses. If you stand in different places infront of the image, the building change.

This image was really good. When you first look at this 3-D image, there looks as if there is coin in the shape. The instructions tell you to touch the coin. When you go to touch the coin, your finger goes straight into the shape. and the coin is no longer there.
This was really good.
I thought that the gallery was really good, as there was activities there for children to have a go at.
